A successful entrepreneur, author, business coach and a consultant with 30 years of experience operating his own businesses, as well as consulting and training. He is the President of Novacom International Limited. Novacom focuses on helping businesses and their people to be employers, suppliers and employees of choice in their industry! We are Business Leadership and Communication Trainers/Consultants. We’re negotiators who help our clients create win-win systems, situations and environments.

Mike started his business career in industrial sales in his early twenties and moved into a sales management position at young age. He was president of a multimillion-dollar housing co-operative at 24 years old on a volunteer basis. He started and built his own his own cellular phone business in his mid/late-twenties from the trunk of his car to three stores and three million in annual sales.

 

When he sold that, he took his kids out of school for a few months, schooled them over the internet, traveled through Europe and Africa before coming back to start a consulting business.

 For over 20 years he’s been training business owners and their managers in people management, while making sure they’re all focused on the right numbers. He believes, from a simplistic basic level, business is all about people and numbers and each is equally as important.

 

He’s consulted with many owners to help them buy and sell businesses as well. What he teaches, he’s practiced himself, coached others on, and witnessed it work with outstanding results. Mike has networked with a diverse cross section of people from homeless to billionaires, of all age groups and heritage. He understands diversity and has an uncanny ability to connect at a deeper level.

Mike delivers tailored training or presentations on best practice empathetic communications techniques, conflict management and prevention, leadership, accountability, teamwork, business communication strategy/systems, employee engagement and relationship management.

Mike’s offers keynote presentations, a 90 minute speed communications training seminar, ½ day and full day training workshops as well as eight week and 12 month training programs. His unique approach to audiences includes sharing cutting edge relevant information about the key to business success, which is building and maintaining strong relationships at every level in the organization through focused conversations.
